NEW: This is the project I use with my grade 5 arts education students in Saskatchewan. Applies to SK ED's Critical Responsive outcome 5.2 (Respond critically and creatively to a variety of pop culture expressions). Simply make a copy of the entire slide presentation,
save it to your files under a new name and enjoy the hyperlinked activity! I let me students work in their sketchbooks while listening to these 16 classic Canadian tunes. After each paired showdown, students vote on the winner. Who will earn the title of "Our Class's Favourite Canadian Hit Song?"
