Description
This music appreciation assignment has students pick a school appropriate album of their choice and analyze its included songs. The students are expected to listen to each song and analyze what instruments they hear, what the song is about, and give each song a rating out of 10. This assignment teaches students how to critically analyze songs while also helping them build their writing skills. Its is a fantastic addition to any music class and can be used for any genre.
