Description

"School of Rock" (2003) is a comedy film directed by Richard Linklater. The story follows Dewey Finn, a down-and-out musician who poses as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school after being kicked out of his band. Instead of teaching the traditional curriculum, Dewey forms a rock band with his fifth-grade students and trains them to compete in the Battle of the Bands competition. Along the way, Dewey helps the students discover their musical talents and self-confidence while learning valuable life lessons about friendship, teamwork, and following their passions. The film's heartwarming story, energetic performances, and catchy rock music make it a beloved classic for audiences of all ages.
