Explore the music of 16 countries from around the world! This activity will take your students across the globe to explore world music and unique instruments.
Your students will learn about diverse music traditions that are celebrated around the world, and journey to 16 notable countries representing each inhabited continent, as well as important cultural regions like the Caribbean and Middle East. This activity is a perfect way to promote cultural diversity in the classroom! Students will have a blast traveling around the globe, from North and South America to Africa, and Europe to Asia!
This activity can be used as an engaging stations activity that gets students moving and recording answers on a "passport." It can also be used as a printable packet that is completed independently, in small groups, or as a whole class.
