Description
Muralismo is a 3 day mini unit that could easily be incorporated into Spanish, Social Studies, and Art classes! In this unit, students will study an overview of Diego Rivera, view art from modern Mexican muralists on social media, learn about a mural that is reducing pollution in Mexico City, and have the opportunity to create their own chalk murals.
This mini unit is split into three days of 45 minute class periods:
- Day 1: Study Diego Rivera
- Day 2: Learn about Modern Muralism in Mexico
- Day 3: Create a Mural of Your Own!
