What educators are saying

A nice worksheet that helps students practice multiplying and dividing with models (a VA SOL standard).
This is a great resource to re-teach the concept for students who are struggling. Many of them benefitted from the visual models as a way to make the connection for the general rules for operations with integers.

Description

In this thorough 4 page packet, you'll find notes and examples and practice using number lines and two-color counters. There is plenty of room for students to show their work. Using models to add and subtract integers is a 7th grade objective in Texas, and this lesson complements a popular curriculum program in the state. I also have a packet for adding and subtracting using models. For a little more money, you can buy the Word version of this packet. You can make changes as you see fit. I only ask that you not resell it as your own.
