Description

This is a 97 page set of worksheets by Suzanne Vanisky that includes sets of 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, 7s, 8s, and 9s times tables practice. It begins with single digit multiplication by 2s and then advances to double and triple digit multiplication using up to the 2s times tables only. Then it proceeds on to 3s times tables and so on. This set includes practice sets for 2s, 3s, 4s 5s, 6s, 7s 8s, and 9s times tables. By teaching your students their 2s times tables and then building upon their skills to compute double-digit and triple digit multiplication problems, you can really help your students gain a strong foundation for remembering their twos as well as fostering their confidence that they can do harder multiplication. While teaching special education, I have always had my students learn their 0s, 1s, and 2s multiplication facts first. While learning their twos, they could then expand their repetoir of skills, by practicing higher level multiplication. My students would really learn their twos quickly and develop confidence that they could multiply hard problems! I would then move them onto their 3s and so forth. This progression of learning their tables and providing for them opportunities to practice them with harder multiplication problems kept them motivated and feeling successful. They could do these worksheets during class with you or independently, as well as for homework. Thanks so much for purchasing this file. I wish you the best success with your students!
