Multiplication Songs for the Classroom
What educators are saying
Description
*NOTE: all of these songs are included in my Songs for the Classroom: The Growing Bundle product. If you already own that, you do not need to purchase this.*
Do your students struggle with learning their multiplication facts? Add some excitement to your practice through these Multiplication Songs! You can use these songs as much or as little as you like. In my class, we introduce each song slowly over a long period of time (and make a big deal of each one!), and then we find ways to squeeze in practice throughout our day - at the beginning of class, during pack-up, or during class as a (meaningful) brain break! I also send the audio files to my students' parents so that they can practice the songs at home! I hear from many parents that students can't stop singing the songs at baseball games, at sleepovers, on road trips - you name it. I hope your students enjoy movin' and groovin' to these educational songs!
The following songs are included in this product:
- 2s Multiplication (to the tune of "Look What You Made Me Do" by Taylor Swift)
- 3s Multiplication (to the tune of "All Star" by Smash Mouth)
- 4s Multiplication (to the tune of "bad guy" by Billie Eilish)
- 5s Multiplication (to the tune of "Someone You Loved" by Lewis Capaldi)
- 6s Multiplication (to the tune of "Happier" by Marshmellow)
- 7s Multiplication (to the tune of "Rewrite the Stars" from The Greatest Showman)
- 8s Multiplication (to the tune of "Old Town Road (Remix)" by Lil Nas X ft. Billy Ray Cyrus)
- 9s Multiplication (to the tune of "Goodbyes" by Post Malone ft. Young Thug)
Each song comes with a lyric sheet, a PowerPoint slide, and an audio file of me singing the song to help you out!
I intend to eventually add an 11s and 12s song, but I do not have a timeline on this yet. I may also add alternate options for different facts as more hit songs come out. If any changes are made to the product, you will be able to re-download and receive the updates for free!
