Multiplication Skip Counting Posters and Song Lyrics

Use these skip counting poster sets and song lyrics to help your students master their multiplication facts!

Let’s face it – students need a lot of practice and a lot of reinforcement when it comes to remembering their multiplication tables. Research shows different brains learn and retain information in different ways, and with a topic like math – we need to provide our students with as many tools and strategies as possible when it comes to memorization and recall. Some students will be able to remember their basic facts through auditory listening, some will need visual reinforcements, and some might even need to move their bodies or use their voices as they work towards becoming fluent in their multiplication facts.

Included are 2 sets of multiplication skip counting posters for the numbers 2-12. There is a plain white set as well as a rainbow coloured set to display in your room to help students begin skip counting for each value. You may wish to print the black and white set on astrobrights, or other colourful paper.

Also included are sing along songs for skip counting from the following numbers: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Engage your students and make learning math facts fun by getting students up and out of their seats, and dancing and signing in the classroom! You may wish to print the lyrics and syllabic breakdown to display, but rest assured – your students will be singing these tunes non-stop as they master those basic multiplication facts!

What better way to fill your schools hallways with cheer, than singing loud, for all to hear!
