The focus is on the ‘trickier’ tables (3,4,6,7,8 and 9).
For the 0,1,2 and 5 tables simple, built-in strategies are reviewed.
Times to Remember doesn’t use the 9-table finger trick because the picture rhymes are faster! As well, the picture rhymes teach fact families whereas the finger trick does not.
For effecient learning, one rhyme solves TWO multiplication equations! ...and later, two division problems!
There are NO stories and NO factor rhyming words to recall!
It is a simple and unique auditory-visual method which benefits all students, including those with special needs.
