What educators are saying

I used this at the beginning of the year! It was awesome. Students learned about themselves. I learned about them, and they learned about each other! Thank you!
I teache GATE scholars and used bits and pieces of this resource with my multiple intelligence unit, and the kids really enjoyed the information.

This includes 4 PowerPoints, with separate versions for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. They are mostly the same, but with different tests and quiz questions for some of the sections based on the grade level.

Overview of PowerPoint

• Begins with an engaging story to illustrate the problem with only focusing on one kind of "smart."

•Students then get to explore the 8 different kinds of intelligences.

•Each intelligence section includes interactive attention-grabbing activities to test the students' ability in the area, questions to help them decide if this might be their kind of "smart", animations, and more.

•Emphasizes that even if something doesn't come easily to you initially, you can still improve and become better.

•Emphasizes that even if something DOES come easily to you, you won't get better if you don't practice.

•Ends with students choosing one "smart" they they think are good at and encourages them to use that to help others, and one "smart" they want to work on.

•Includes two versions of a worksheet (one where students can draw answer, one where they can write answer).

Note to Buyers: The slides will appear to have overlapping text due to the animations, but when played as a slideshow will look normal. I recommend viewing the slideshow before presenting it to the students to become familiar with the way the buttons and slides are formatted.
