Description

This set of three part cards is a perfect addition to your classroom peace table. Each card showcases a different cultural symbol for peace along with its country of origin. Each set includes a picture card, word card, and control card for the following symbols: Heiwa (Japanese Kanji for peace), Peace Sign, Peace Dove, Ohm or Shanti (Hindi for peace and mindfulness), Yin Yang (Chinese for peace and oneness), Lotus Buddha (Buddhist symbol for peace through meditation), Ankh (Egyptian hieroglyphic for peaceful living), and the Jain Hand (Jain symbol for nonviolence). Cards should be printed onto card stock, cut and laminated prior to classroom use.
