Does your Winter Holidays Around the World unit honor the diverse backgrounds of the students in your school? These multicultural holiday poems include many of the cultures around the world that are represented in today's classrooms.

The thirteen original poems will honor the beliefs of the diverse students in your classroom. I've researched the history and traditions of various holidays and cultural celebrations. There is even a poem for your students who do not celebrate any holidays! In addition, you'll receive background information about each of the holidays, as well as a Venn diagram and stationery to encourage student response. The poems are written in a variety of formats. The versions with colored clip art are perfect for projecting, while the black and white versions may be reproduced for student use.
