Mother's Day Crafts - "You Are My Sunshine" Mother's Day Gift Bundle

This special Mother's Day craft makes for an adorable Mother’s Day gift for the mothers of your students & other important women in their lives. The kids write and illustrate a booklet all about their moms. It has a "You Are My Sunshine" theme.

The Mother’s Day Gift book includes (see preview for images):

• Portrait frame with space for students to draw an illustration of mom.
• All About My Mom - Kids fill in fun facts about mom (their guesses on height/weight etc. never get old). Other prompts on this page include: "She always says_____," "She always forgets to _____," "She laughs when _____," 
• My Mom's Favorites - Kids fill in bubbles of all of their mom's favorites (favorite restaurant, favorite movie, etc.)
• Additional pages for them to respond to writing prompts about their mom and illustrate pictures for each. To go along with the "You Are My Sunshine" theme of the booklet, students make their own sunshine picture frames. Take a photo of each child holding the sign that says “You Are My Sunshine” and put the photo inside the frame.
