Description
Do you use morning meetings in your 4th grade classroom? Are you constantly rushing around in the morning to write a message, choose a greeting, and find an activity before your students walk in the door? Class meetings are a great way to build community, but they can be a bear to prep! This pack takes all of the prep out of morning meetings, so you can focus on the rest of your day – and the best part? They are completely paperless!

Included in Paperless Morning Meetings:
Four weeks of no-prep morning meetings will be at your fingertips. Here’s everything that’s included:
Morning Songs:
Five upbeat, clean songs have been linked for you – simply click the link and go greet your students at the door! They will be energized and ready to start their day after listening to these songs! A different song is linked for each day of the week.
Greetings:
A greeting for each day of the week has been planned for you! Students will get a chance to greet each other in many different ways. This simple routine allows students to be seen and heard first thing each morning. An editable template has also been included so you can customize greetings to fit your students’ needs.
Shares:
Two sharing routines are included for each day of the week – use the one you prefer, or use one for your closing meeting!
1. Academic and Social Emotional Share Topics – A share topic is included for each day of the week. These prompts incorporate science, math, reading, social studies, and social emotional topics.
2. WOW’s and POW’s Sharing Routing- This sharing routine allows two students to share about their lives each day. Two students will share a WOW (a great thing going on in their life) or a POW (a not-so-great thing). Then, they will take questions, comments, and compliments from the class about their share. This is a great way to build community and practice speaking and listening skills.
Editable share slides are also included!
Activities:
An activity is included for each day of the week! These activities are quick, simple, and engaging for students. Activities are a great way to encourage risk-taking and build trust between students. An editable template slide is available so you can customize it to fit your needs!
Messages:
Message templates are included for you, so you can write a short note to students about your day. Use these templates to tell students about lunch choices, specials, and schedule changes.
