What educators are saying

Loved how this resource was ready-to-go and fit so well with my unit lessons and the NGSS Standards! Captivate Science came recommended by many teachers on different social media/ professional teacher groups for Middle Schoolers. So glad I pursured it! My whole class period was engaged!

Description

Getting ready the study the moon and the phases of the moon? This moon phase digital activity uses the power of Genially to engage students in learning about what causes the phases of the moon! Perfect for small group work or independent practice. Students click to read nonfiction text, explore diagrams, pictures and games to build a strong understanding of how the moon's orbit and our perspective impact our view of the moon throughout the month.

Digital interactive games are very motivating for middle school science students! You can make your own on Genially or use this one to save you TONS of prep time!
