What educators are saying

I love using this resource when teaching about the moon and moon phases. I love the options for two booklets as well as the text features that are included in the booklets.
My students loved using this resource! There was a variety of activities for them to use to help reinforce what we learned about the phases of the moon.

Description

The unit is 80 pages and includes information about the phases of the moon, as well as day/night (sun/moon patterns). We created this unit with the new Common Core science standards in mind. There are resources here that are designed to be used in a first grade classroom as well as resources for second and third grade classrooms. In this there are many “parts” included (non-fiction texts, class posters, follow-up activities, and more.) Pages can be mixed and matched to meet the needs of your classroom!
