Montessori Squaring Chains Skip Counting Book

Use this booklet as an extenstion to the Montessori Squaring Chains. Each page replicates a set of chains (2-10) with a blank arrow at the end of each bead bar. Once the child begins counting at the darkened bead, they will write the last number of each bead bar in the chain, ie. the 5 squaring chain the blank arrow labels will read 5, 10, 15, 20, 25. To beautify the book, allow your students to refine their pincer grip and hand eye coordination by coloring in each bead on the chains to coincide with the real Squaring Chain colors:

*2 - green

*3 - pink

*4 - yellow

*5 - light blue

*6 - purple

*7 - white

*8 - brown

*9 - dark blue

*10 - gold

To finalize the book, the students will fill out the cover by only writing the skip counting arrows for each chain, ie. #3 will have 3, 6, 9 written on the arrows.
