Description

This material is perfect for Earth Day and any other day out of the year! Children learn the differences between Recycling, Composting and Trash. The different color bins represents each. Blue for Recycling, Green for Composting and Black for trash; this also allows an easy key for children who are still learning to sort the items as each item has a color border that matches each can. Children have fun sorting with this material!

  • Recycle, Composting, and Trash Bin Cards
  • 18 items to sort into each can
  • Color coded for easy sorting

  1. Print, cut, laminate and set up in a basket or tray
  2. Name each can and overview what it means
  3. Have child name each item and place into correct bin
  4. Ask child if they can think or any additional items to put into each bin
