Montessori Counting Work--Preschool Math

This is a set of 60 cards with numbers from 1 to 10 as well as 5 cards with images of objects corresponding to that number.

I decided to include images of colored beads on the numeral cards. This is not something that your child is familiar with when learning to count to ten. But it is something they can get acquainted with without a formal presentation and it will help them master colored bead stair with ease when they are ready for it. You can then use numeral cards and have your children match colored beads to cards.

When preparing the materials, you can choose to mount the cards on colored cardstock following the Montessori colored beads stair or leave them white. We also punched holes in one corner and sorted our cards on book rings for ease of storage.
