Money Word Problem Task Cards - Grocery Shopping Theme

These Shopping Money Word Problem Task Cards are great for teaching the concept of money in an authentic manner. There are 3 variations of the store which will enable you to differentiate the learning experience to suit the needs of your students. This pack of 32 task cards works with ANY of the 3 store variations. The task cards include both addition and subtraction problems. Some of these are 1 step problems and others are 2 step problems. This pack will help your students learn more about cents.

Directions:

Simply print and laminate the desired Supermart Posters and Task Cards.

The Supermart Posters come in 3 variations differentiated by ability. The task cards will go with ANY of these posters. You may even choose to use all 3 depending on the learning needs of your students.

The 3 variations include:

Card 1: To the nearest 10¢ (e.g. 70¢, 50¢)

Card 2: To the nearest 5¢ (e.g. 55¢, 90¢)

Card 3: All cents (e.g. 42¢, 71¢)

You will receive 2 files. The first file has the task cards numbered, while the second file has the task cards unnumbered.
