What educators are saying

My students loved this and was perfect for their level. It was easy to use as well and I highly recommend.
My students LOVED this. Some asked me to print them off as homework. This gave them a real life example on using decimals. Will use again!

Description

Do your students need additional practice with addition & subtraction of money amounts? Try these self-checking printables for a fun twist on working with money. This unit contains five money math mystery phrase printables and answer keys. Each printable provides students with practice adding and subtracting money amounts less than ten dollars.

For each worksheet, students are to answer the questions, then place the letter beside the question on the line that corresponds to the answer of the question to find out the mystery money fact. Some letters may occur more than once in the answer and some may not appear at all. If done correctly, a money fact will be revealed, providing these fun printables with a self-checking aspect.

These worksheets could be placed in a math center or provided to students for independent practice working with money or decimals.
