Description
A modern twist on a classic tool. This updated Expanding Expression Tool has been streamlined to provide visual cues and more visually appealing. This tool can be used to help clients of all ages expand oral and written expression, as well as teach adjectives and expand vocabulary. This updated resource is compatible with teletherapy mediums, such as Zoom, so you can easily annotate on the screen what descriptions your client provides.
This PowerPoint includes 9 visual examples for your client to describe using guidelines outlined below:
- Green: What group does it belong to?
- Blue: What do you do with it? What does it do?
- Grey (eye): What does it look like? size, shape, and color?
- Brown: What is it made of? Where does it come from?
- Pink: What are its parts? What parts?
- White: Where can you find it? Where would you see/use it?
- Orange: What else do I know? Prior knowledge or facts?
This printer-friendly resource includes three bonus slides so you can any object to create a more personalized session. I also have a free PowerPoint version of this resource which you can be used for an interactive teletherapy session.
