This product includes:
⭐️Two anchor charts that model and explain mixed numbers and improper fractions (includes different border options)
⭐️Student Notes that mimic the anchor charts but have spaces for students to write in answers. These are 1/2 page size so they can fit in student notebooks. One version includes fraction models already filled in and the other version has blank fraction models so students can personalize their notes.
⭐️"Name that Fraction" (3 pages): These pages have fraction models already colored in. Students describe each fraction model as both a mixed number and improper fraction.
⭐️"Color the Improper Fraction" (4 pages): Students color in fraction models to match the improper fraction that is given.
⭐️"Color the Mixed Number" (4 pages): Students color in fraction models to match the mixed number that is given.
⭐️"Pizza Fractions" (2 pages): One sheet involves identifying pictures of fraction pizzas and the second sheet has simple word problems where the sum is greater than a whole
⭐️"Chocolate Bar Fractions" (1 page): Students describe each model as a mixed number and improper fraction
⭐️Answer keys for the practice pages are provided!
