This set starts with two pages that teach and/or review addition and subtraction strategies. Next, I've include 45 practice pages that focus on 9 specific skills:

* I’ve included quite a few problems on each page to promote fluency. To differentiate or do quick assessments, feel free to cut out one row at a time. Encourage children to draw pictures, draw number lines, explain their thinking, or write stories to accompany the problems.
** Note that while I have included strategies that would accompany word problems and the "symbol for the unknown" included in 1.OA.A.1 and 1.OA.A.2, this set does not include word problems.
*** While some of my other packets include full-page explanations, games, songs, and additional practice pages (such as my 90-page set that focuses exclusively on "Addition to 20"), this packet is intentionally broader and “to-the-point." The practice pages look a lot like the ones in the thumbnails.
