Description

A Ballerina’s Tale follows Misty Copeland’s rise to ballet fame as a principal dancer. The documentary examines the importance of her story and the racial barriers she broke along the way. This documentary would be an excellent addition for Black History Month. This would also be beneficial in a Dance, Theater, or a Health course. Misty was a trailblazer for black women in ballet and also one who also helped changed the ideal body image for ballerinas.

My documentary guide contains 30 questions and an answer key has been provided for your convenience. The film's runtime is 85 minutes.
