SIX Mini Projects / Extension Activities that can be used for ANY Novel.

• "A New Perspective" - A Point of View Activity - Students tasked with rewriting a chapter from a different character’s point of view!
• "Create a Character Collage" - A Character Analysis Activity - Students tasked creating a collage of words, phrases and images that represent a character from the book.
• "Dear Journal..." - A Character Growth Activity - Students tasked with writing three journal entries from one character’s point of view from the beginning, middle and end of the novel to show how the character has changed and grown.
• "Design a Book Jacket" - Students tasked with creating a new title and design for the book jacket of the novel
• "Host a Character on your Podcast" - Students tasked with hosting a podcast in which they write interview questions (as well as the answers) for a main character in the novel.
• "Design a Poster Advertisement" - A Theme Activity - Students tasked with creating a poster advertisement that specifically depicts the theme of the novel.
• "Design the Character's Social Media" - A Character Growth Activity - Students tasked with creating three posts for the main character that shows how they grew throughout the novel. One post for the beginning; middle; and end.
