Mini-Guide for Juniors: Ink on His Fingers Interactive

This is a two-week literature guide for the book titled Ink on His Fingers, by Louise Vernon. In this book, Hans gets involved in a mystery when works as an apprentice to Johann Gutenberg.

The guide includes:

• vocabulary activities
• discussion questions
• reading activities: Students will: fill in a K-W-L Chart, practice predicting, complete map work, fill in an ARISTOCRATS diagram, and fill in an opinion chart. Students will learn about: centuries, opinions/facts, alliteration, similes, idioms, and main idea.

• a crossword puzzle
• activities that are able to be used as assessments
• an answer key

This is an interactive guide that enables parents/teachers to facilitate an oral discussion of the book, but it only provides space for one student to complete fill-in-the-blank activities. If you are interested in using the guide with more than one student, check out the options:
