This Upper Elementary and Middle School Trade Career Exploration unit will help school counselors and teachers build career readiness with students ages 10-13.
Featuring a 7 lesson group counseling plan, each lesson can be used with a small group or as a whole classroom lesson.
Through a variety of interactive and hands-on activities, students will learn about a wide range of trade professions, from electricians and plumbers to carpenters and culinary arts.
With a focus on real-world examples and practical skills, this resource is the perfect way to help your students explore potential career paths and prepare for their futures.
Included in the Middle School College Readiness Lessons & Activities:
- 7 counseling sessions or whole class lessons
- Each session is designed to engage your students in activities and games.
- Each lesson includes discussion/script prompts to help your group counseling flow, and guide students to examine their thoughts and knowledge about college readiness.
- Lesson 5 is an Escape Room Activity that may require more than one session.
