Middle School STEM Activity | Arcade Game STEAM Task Challenge

Bring this fun hands on Arcade STEM activity into your class! It has been designed to engage middle school students with STEAM challenge, watch their co-operation as they create an arcade game. The activities are quick and easy to set up, and encourage critical math and science thinking, with a focus on team building. Now suitable for home and distance learning with Google slides and worksheet options.

~~ Are you looking for an easy way to incorporate STEM/ STEAM into your curriculum? ~~

Students will enjoy working on this STEM activity by having to work within a budget and time frame restrictions. This encourages great team building and group work skills as they need to work together to chose appropriate materials and calculate their costs along the way.

Students research and find a way to design a new arcade game or improve an existing arcade game. All construction will be with paper, cardboard and other simple materials available. At the end of the task gather all students and set up an arcade room. Students can test out and enjoy each others games and provide feedback.
