Description
Carnival Games is great for family math night, or a fun station to do after state testing, or Saturday school. Group you students and have each group work on the station for about 5 - 6 minutes. They will record their answers on the included recording sheet and then move on to the next station. For independent work, have students fill out the follow up questions at their seat. Answer key is included for stations and follow up questions. visit my blog www.theturtledoveclassroom.com

Find the probabilities of dependent and independent events.
You are a part of a committee that is organizing a carnival game. You must choose among several games for your booth. However, you want to select the game that will allow you to keep the booth open as long as possible. (Meaning- you don’t want to give away all the prizes too quickly!) In order to make a decision you need to calculate the probabilities of winning each game. Record these probabilities on the Carnival games recording sheet and answer the questions that follow.
