What educators are saying

My kids call me the graphing master. I focus quite a bit on data, charts and graphs in my science and math classes. This is a great resource. Thank you.
I used this resource as a way to get my students ready for the state test they were going to have to take. The tests have a lot of graphs on them and we don't see a lot of graphs throughout the school year. This resource was a great one to see all the different ones that might be on the test.

If your students are like mine, they collected data well during a scientific investigation, but struggle to understand and interpret what the data means. I solved this problem by creating this No Prep! Print and Go! pack of 30 different data sets. Each data set includes five comprehension and analysis questions to help students practice this important skill.

WHAT'S INCLUDED (Print Version Only)

  • 30 graphs, charts, data tables, and diagrams
  • Covers Earth, life, physical, and general science
  • 5 comprehension and data analysis questions for each chart/graph
  • Answer key

Use them as a warm-up, bell ringer, in class assignment, or as homework! Answering just one question a day will take just the smallest bit of class time, but will keep your student's data analysis skills sharp! And, this pack will last almost a full year that way! 30 data sets x 5 questions = 150 days of data analysis! The print digital bundle includes a bonus 5 data sets which give you enough material to do one question a day for 170 days of school! For only $2 more you get the print version, digital version, and 4 extra bonus graphs!

Reporting the number of observations.
NGSSMS-LS4-3
Analyze displays of pictorial data to compare patterns of similarities in the embryological development across multiple species to identify relationships not evident in the fully formed anatomy. Emphasis is on inferring general patterns of relatedness among embryos of different organisms by comparing the macroscopic appearance of diagrams or pictures. Assessment of comparisons is limited to gross appearance of anatomical structures in embryological development.
NGSSMS-LS4-1
Analyze and interpret data for patterns in the fossil record that document the existence, diversity, extinction, and change of life forms throughout the history of life on Earth under the assumption that natural laws operate today as in the past. Emphasis is on finding patterns of changes in the level of complexity of anatomical structures in organisms and the chronological order of fossil appearance in the rock layers. Assessment does not include the names of individual species or geological eras in the fossil record.
