Middle School Alertness

Middle School alertness includes a video link that provides an example of a person not being alert. The video also includes tips for increasing alertness in an individual's life. The script of the video is available in closed caption. There is also a graphic organizer as well as classroom discussion questions. There are four activities/assignments that focus on the character trait of alertness as well as a key for them. This activity packet is a great way to encourage and teach about being alert, a trait needed by all individuals throughout their life. Alertness can be applied to most any subject area. It can be used by teachers that are teaching career preparation and/or character. It can also be used as a substitute lesson.
