Microsoft Word Lessons - Skills Practice for Grades 4-6

These lessons are for students familiar with the basics and ready to practice formatting skills they have learned. Use these activities to reinforce formatting Font Style, Size, Color, Paint Format, Text Alignment, Word Art, Text Boxes, Cut, Copy, Paste, Page Set Up, and Line Spacing. Two lessons are OneDrive Lessons and 3 Lessons are Printables.

Lessons:

Holidays (OneDrive Lesson) - Cut, Copy & Paste Activity (Edible if you want to change the holidays.)

Ice Cream Menu – Students will create an Ice Cream Shop Menu and use Page Set up, Line Spacing, Text Alignment, etc.

Thesaurus (OneDrive Lesson) – Students will use the Thesaurus to change 5 "Over Used Words" in 5 different ways per word for a total of 25 changes.

Population Table – Students will format, add a row to a Table and add Shading to the Table.

Endangered Animal Text Box Collage – Students will use specific websites to learn about an endangered animal of their choice using Text Boxes (Borders, Dashes, Weight), Word Art, and apply Borders to Pictures.
