Looking for a fun activity to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month? Students can explore Mexico's rich culture and traditions, famous landmarks and holidays such as Cinco de Mayo and Day of the Dead. Students will also "travel" to Mexico City, learn about folk dance and the famous artist, Frida Kahlo, and learn about the migrating Monarch Butterflies that migrate to Mexico each year!
This Virtual Field Trip is a Google slides resource. It features two digital choice board that link to student-friendly online sites & activities. You can assign all of the blocks or allow students to choose a given number of virtual tours, videos, and activities. After students are finished exploring, they can share what they learned using the included Photo Quiz or work on the student activity slides.
Digital choice boards contain picture-internet links so your students will go directly to the site without having to type in the internet web address. It's extremely engaging, educational, and fun! Take it one step further and have your students create a slide or report based on their trip(s).
NO PREP or prior experience necessary. Spanish language is NOT required - all sites use English. Student-friendly. Super easy & fun learning. Internet access needed. This resource is perfect for chromebooks, computer labs, whiteboards and remote learning.
