Description
The Merge Cube is an amazing new augmented reality tool for your classroom! Let your students become paleontologists as they search for dinosaurs with the Merge Cube! Start by downloading the Dino Digger app, and then allow your students to seek out different dinosaur bones in the soil. As each section of a dinosaur is unearthed, facts about the dinosaur are revealed on the Merge Cube which the students will record on the included worksheets. I’ve made each worksheet in the style of an adventurer’s journal! I’ve also used pictures of fossils I’ve found to accent their learning, as well as sample species of plants attached to the journal. There are also timelines on each page, where the student can record what period of time the dinosaur existed.
This project could be set up in a lab and students can work on it over a period of time, as it does take a while to find all 10 dinosaurs! Once the students are done, there is a word search in the back to allow them more practice on what they have found. Please see the preview above to check out this unique one-of-a-kind activity!
