Mentor Text Organization {Writing Edition}

Do you have tons of mentor texts, but have no way of organizing them? Can't remember what skill you taught with a mentor text? If you are like me and answered yes to both of these, then I have just what you need!!
In this unit you will find materials for organizing your writing mentor texts. A mentor text is a book used to teach a specific reading or writing strategy or skill. Most of the time you revisit these texts over and over to focus in on skills/strategies not the story itself.
Because I wanted to be organized and know what texts I have to teach each skill or strategy, I have set up materials to help you organize your texts as well. There are text labels, master lists for keeping track of your mentor texts and bin labels for separating all the texts.
All the materials are color coded and match which allows you to keep your materials organized and easy to find! In addition all the materials editable so you can always add and save texts based on your mentor library! Just think about how easy planning will be with all your texts organized and at your finger tips.
