Mental Health Literacy Workbook (Grade 3 Ontario Health)

This workbook covers the Mental Health Literacy unit in the Grade 3 Ontario Health Curriculum (2019).

In this workbook, students will learn about mental health through an exploration of the brain, emotions, and stress responses such as fight, flight, and freeze. They will delve into understanding various emotions, coping strategies, and the importance of positive mental health practices like mindfulness and affirmations.

There is a variety of readings, short answer questions, cut-and-paste activities, and drawing prompts included to create a varied workbook suitable for many learning styles.

To support assessment practices, Ontario curriculum expectations are clearly identified on each page. A unit test is included at the end of the workbook.
