Arlington: A Memorial Day Unit for Grades 4-8 ~ Freebie!

I created this freebie unit both as a thank-you to my wonderful followers and as a tribute to the soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice. I hope that you will share these activities with your students so that they may appreciate this sacrifice as well.

In this unit, students will analyze song lyrics from "Arlington" by Trace Adkins. Then, they'll watch a documentary on Arlington National Cemetery while completing a two-page viewing guide to help them extract crucial information.

I hope that your students will enjoy these lessons and you will find them helpful during this busy time of the school year!
