Whether you are reading a book or living daily life as usual, you can turn everyday moments into multi-sensory learning opportunities with this "Memorable Experience Checklist"! Specifically designed for use in both classroom and home environments, this provocation tool can help you maximize child engagement in ANY situation. This easy to use tool inspires families and teachers to get creative while maintaining an active role in their child's lifelong learning journey!

Tips for use:

1. Pick a book/topic/or experience to focus on.
2. Keeping the focus (topic) you picked for step 1 in mind, answer each reflective question in the boxes provided for how they can experience the focus topic in different ways.
3. Review the entire tool and finalize your planned multi-sensory experience. Look for opportunities to add to your original plan (GOAL: every box includes something you are excited to experience with your child).
4. Give it a try! Feel free to extend your ideas into multiple experiences if needed to build on your child's interests.. remember you have plenty of time!
   

For even more child engagement with the planning & implementation process:

• Post the completed checklist so children can see it throughout the duration of your planned experience. Encourage the children to cross off the portions you have completed and add their own ideas to the checklist as inspiration strikes!
