What educators are saying

My students really enjoyed seeing the movie, and I really liked that we had talking points and a writing connection.
Exactly what I was looking for! I love the movie and worksheet were section into 3 segments. Thank you!!

Description

This is a movie viewing guide for Meet the Robinsons with questions tied to engineering and technology science standards! This viewing guide can be used as you watch the movie in one sitting OR it can be broken down into three 30 minute segments (the worksheet is divided into 3 sections to accommodate three 30 minute viewing sessions; the movie is 90 minutes long). I hope this helps your students make connections between "real-life" engineering and technology practices! This resource supports standards:

3-5-ETS1-1
Define a simple design problem reflecting a need or a want that includes specified criteria for success and constraints on materials, time, or cost.

3-5-ETS1-2
Generate and compare multiple possible solutions to a problem based on how well each is likely to meet the criteria and constraints of the problem.

3-5-ETS1-3
Plan and carry out fair tests in which variables are controlled and failure points are considered to identify aspects of a model or prototype that can be improved.
