This was an engaging lesson for my students. I did not use the last part of it because the material was a little too complex for my students but the rest of it worked great for my classes.
In my opinion, it is so difficult to find resources on Medieval history...but this really came in handy and was a great resource to use!

In this engaging, 2-page multimedia web quest, students learn about life in Medieval towns and the growth and power of Medieval guilds. Students do this through a variety of pieces of text from websites and the incorporation of a fun and engaging video. At the end of the web quest, students compare guilds to modern day labor unions, then evaluate the effectiveness of labor unions in the 21st century world!

This resource includes a paper in-class version and a 1:1 Google compatible version to be used in conjunction with Google Classroom. Just follow the included instructions for how to access the Google version, then share the resource through Google or assign via Google Classroom. This will allow students to type directly into the document!
