Description
This activity asks students to divide into small groups. Each group will research a particular topic over Medieval Africa (or background)—Bantu Migration, Aksum, Swahili Trade, Trans Saharan Trade, Ibn Battuta, Mansa Musa. They will explain their type of topic to the class, specific facts, and its importance.
Students will take notes over the presentations, complete a map and timeline activity, and the teacher can use the student-created questions from the exit tickets to create a quiz for student accountability.
