Measuring Mass TASK CARDS {Reading a Triple Beam Balance}

Use these task cards with riders from a triple beam balance to help your students practice a fundamental science measurement skill. I always pair this assessment with real, hands-on practice in the classroom. I’ve also used it to introduce this topic, so the students know how the process works before giving them the hands-on practice with the triple beam balances.This product features 3 different difficulty levels so that students can practice on their own level of comfort. Twenty-four colorful task cards and 24 (of the same set) in black and white are included with this set, as well as an answer key. Use these task cards in your student’s interactive notebooks for a little guided or independent practice. Please note that these cards place emphasis on how to read a triple beam balance.
