- color the object that is longer than the first

- color the object that is shorter than the first

- order the objects from longest to shortest

- order the objects from shortest to longest

- sort the objects to show shorter and longer objects

- sort the objects to show which ones are shorter and longer than a toothbrush

- circle the longest of 2 objects

- of 3 objects, circle the longest and X the shortest

- order 3 objects by length writing 1, 2, 3

- read a statement and decide if it is true or false

- color the cubes to measure the length of each object (2 pages)

- use the ruler to measure the length of each object

- draw a pencil to the length indicated

- guess the length of a second object by looking at the length of another

- find items and measure them with a ruler

- measure items using different 2 objects: cubes and paper clips

- estimate length then measure with popsicle sticks

- estimate length then measure with a ruler
