Description
This 12 day unit contains all the lesson plans, worksheets, final evaluation, and even an extension activity! Students will learn all about Customary and Metric length, mass and volume as well as the "tricks" to make converting easier in the Metric system.
The extension activity is cross-curricular using the book How Tall How Short How Faraway by David Adler.
Materials needed to teach this unit include: balance scales, measure tapes, rulers, meter stick, yard stick, graduated cylinders, paper plates, straws, marbles, sponges, and FUN!
