Description

Make your calendar time each morning engaging, meaningful, and fun for your students with this digital math calendar. This calendar is created in Google Slides and is perfect for your face-to-face calendar lessons or remote learning. This interactive calendar can be for your whole group calendar time on your Smartboard or use it for remote learning.

This morning calendar routine has just enough slides to take about 15 minutes each day, giving you plenty of extra math practice without taking up too much time.

This resource includes the following Google slides:

  • 12 monthly calendar slides with movable numbers - The numbers for each month are created in a seasonal pattern and increase in difficulty each month, with a review at the end of the school year. Students can drag the numbers onto the calendar each day.
  • Tally Marks & Place Value Slides - students can count the number of days in school by dragging tally marks and base ten blocks onto the daily slide.
  • Time & Graphing - Students can practice telling time and analyzing a daily graph - both include movable pieces.
  • 2D & 3D Shapes - Students can learn about different shapes on this daily slide with movable pieces.
  • Weather - Students can check the weather each day and keep track of the temperature, weather, and dress Weather Bear with movable pieces on each slide.
  • Money - Write a new amount of money each day and students can drag coins into the piggy bank to match.
  • Counting To 100 - Write your numbers to 100 to count the days until your 100th day of school
  • Morning Message - Includes 4 different slides for you to choose from with different male and female teachers. Type or write a morning message to your students each day.
  • Song Buttons - Also includes buttons on each slide that you can link to your favorite YouTube songs for kids.

Each slide includes draggable pieces and the ability to type on the slide. The slides in this resource can be moved around in whatever order works best for you. Simply click on the slide and drag it to the position where you want it.

Standards
