Description
This short supplement to any matter unit contains three independent stations and one teacher-led demonstration station. Each station has students complete a short reading passage (matter, solids, liquids, or gases) and answer four questions by finding evidence in the reading. Each reading is followed by a short activity or lab for students to complete pertaining to the reading. There is one activity for each state of matte and a scavenger hunt on general matter.
I had students (or partners) rotating around to the four stations, one each day, but can be used as a whole class activity as well.
