What educators are saying

My students absolutely loved this assignment. As a special education teacher, I am looking for resources that I can utilize with some of the students in my class even tough they are all spread out between different academic grade levels. This makes lesson planning and preparing so easy!

Description

Use these story problems to help students build their understanding of representing a story problem with a number sentence, number bonds, and pictures. Students will practice using numbers up to 20.

On these practice pages, students will read, draw, and write the answers to word problems by drawing pictures to represent the information in the problem, writing a corresponding addition or subtraction sentence and matching number bond, and writing a sentence with the solution to the problem.

Included in this set are 60 different problems, 30 in which students solve for the sum or total and 30 in which students will solve for the missing addend and subtract.
