This product was updated 11/17/21 to be completely revamped with a new design and style with many additional posters. The original 8 poster designs that came with this product are still included as well.
Each poster is sized 11 X 8.5. The posters each use color coded steps to help visually break down the process for solving these types of math problems for students who struggle with multi step math problems. Great for visual learners.
The content of the first 6 posters work with 1st and 2nd graders, 8-16 for grades 3rd-5th, and posters 17-20 for 6th grade. They all work with supporting Special Education students with following multi step processes using a color coded step by step system. The color coded system is important for helping students track where they are in the problem, so the posters need to be printed in color in order to utilize the visual cues placed in them. Note: these posters are not self-explanatory for new learners. Pre and Post teaching is needed as well as additional modeling to help students grasp the problem solving process, especially for the multi digit problems.
The product comes in the form of a 20 page PDF, so you'll need Adobe Acrobat 8 or later (it's free on the web). You'll want to set printer orientation to portrait so the posters print at their maximum size. Remember to leave feedback below.
